Supermarket Sweep

It's no secret that Dustin and I haven't exactly mastered an "adult life"- Sure we have a house, and full time jobs, but we haven't quite been able to get in a routine when it comes to the more routine parts of adulthood- cooking, cleaning, laundry, and so on...

We somehow get it all done (for the most part) but people aren't exactly breaking down our door for tips on how we do it.

But that could all change after I show you our top (only) tip: A grocery list.

I know, crazy concept right? But really...I think this is a good one. After years of writing practically the same thing on our weekly list, invariably forgetting a staple food, or struggling to remember everything we need...We found a better way:
A customized, printable grocery list.

It has all of our typical needs on it, as well as some space to write special items. Now all we have to do is print one off, and put it up on the fridge. As we run out of things, we circle them, building our list until it's time to shop. Then it's a breeze at the store, because the list is organized to match the order of the aisle of our local grocery store. We shop faster, and more efficiently, reducing forgotten items, or running around the store trying to satisfy a jumbled list.

Genius, right? Well yes, but I can assure you, we didn't invent this system. If you google around, you can find tons of templates to give you a start. But even though it's an old idea....I'm proud to have a "trick of the trade" that we have actually successfully implemented.

And of course, after all that bragging, I'm happy to share our list with you. Feel free to download and give it a shot. You'll be a savvy shopper in no time!
