We’ve been married six glorious years, and currently make “The Steel City” our home. We started Bowdenisms on the very last day of 2007, (for the blogger tax break, obviously....) as a way to share bits and pieces of our little lives with family and friends. We love our families, each other, and Jesus. (not necessarily in that order) as well as a host of other silly little things (which you can learn more about here). You may be wondering....
What’s a Bowdenism?
That’s just a fancy word for the crazy stuff we Bowdens say. And after many failed attempts of coming up with the most clever blog name ever- we settled on that.
Why we blog?
Fame? Fortune? Nah....just because we love it! (not that we’d turn our noses up at a little extra attention...or cash!). We started blogging on a whim, but it’s grown into a special little place where we share our stories, our dreams, and our hearts. You can read more about our “why’s” here.
What do we blog about?
We’re pretty open around here, so if you browse around a bit, you’re sure to get to know us pretty well....But if you want the highlights, here are some great places to start:
You can read the story of our lives in 100 words or less and learn a few of our flaws.
We write about loving each other (including anniversaries...and just because!), loving a good party...all occasions welcome...and loving our little house.
We also love to cook (whether it's a success, a bit of mess, or a total disaster!) But we really love to eat (especially burgers and ice cream)!
And we occasionally detail our crazy little adventures, mishaps, or just plain silliness.
But our favorite topic lately is our mini-Bowden- our daughter, Piper Jane. So even if you don't like our posts, or get our humor, she's pretty irresistible, so at least stick around for some adorable pics.
